Horizon

2013 and Ongoing

In multiple worldwide locations live physical actions are performed in direct engagement with the horizon line. Live video is streamed simultaneously from each of these actions to the project website. The horizon line from all actions are aligned, creating a virtual live horizon of action worldwide. On April 24, 2013 Horizon was introduced during LPM Festival in Rome using 11 recorded videos. Through the summer of 2013 the virtual horizon line will grow with the addition of videos from other artists. In fall 2013 Horizon premieres with synchronous live video streams of performances worldwide. Horizon originates in online streaming of live embodied performances in live performance, but will also manifest online and off, as videos, installations, and digital prints, in venues ranging from street fairs to museums.
