Here are excerpts from earlier works. The links below will take you to my first “primative” website from 1998, created in conjunction with the seminal exhibition “The Way Things Grow” at Thomas Barry Fine Arts in Minneapolis. It is the first instance of a gallery exhibition with a web page for every piece in the gallery. Each gallery piece was titled with the URL of its web page. This structure allowed me to continue working in text installation without putting any actual text in the gallery. This show initiated the hybrid real/virtual practice I have continued for 12 years.
