Location Sequence

1999 – 2005, and ongoing

Location Sequence is an ongoing series of installations addressing ideas of measurement, sequence and location as these are played out in areas as diverse as land ethics, genetic technologies, narratives and psychological systems of ordering experience.  The physical installations are constantly changing but all refer back to an unchanging website. The only consistent physical element is 72 segments of a collapsible ruler, each of which gives a URL for a different section of the website.
